Schwinn Thrasher Bike Helmet

This product was recommended by Rohan Kadam from Bikingknowhow

The helmet is made of thick and strong foam that is extremely durable and the microshell construction offers immense protection to the rider’s head. It also comes with a built-in detachable visor that offers excellent protection to your eyes from the sun and rain. Padding can also be adjusted to fit your head shape. The design of the helmet is so versatile that it offers the protection of a mountain bike helmet and the comfort of a city bike helmet. The rear LED light is the most significant feature, which functions as a still light and flasher with just a press of a button. They offer excellent visibility of the rider to the oncoming traffic.

Giro Fixture MIPS Adult Dirt Cycling Helmet

This product was recommended by Will Henry from Bike Smarts

Many times, a cycling helmet is what you need to protect your head from impact and injury. The Giro Fixture MIPS is the perfect option if you’re looking for comfortability and performance with ultimate protection for both your head and your face in case of an accident. The MIPS lining on this model has been designed to emphasize safety because the material was carefully selected for its ability to absorb impacts. It uses specially shaped products that have been created by taking into account how vulnerable an area like one’s temple is when hit by fast-moving objects while biking at high speeds. In addition, this helmet does not set off metal detectors as quickly as other models because it uses air pads instead of screws or plastic. I’m not associated with this brand, but I personally used this.

Spectre Helmet

This product was recommended by Daniel from Mackadams Factors

The helmet itself is the Spectre helmet which is sold by Macadams UK. The helmets specifications include dial controlled 2 position height adjustment, available in 52-58cm and 58-62cm. With the medium weighing 245 grams and the large weighing 290 grams. Me and few other of the boys at Mackadams use it personally. It’s the best helmet we do. Being up there with one of the best price for weight trade offs in the market with a good range of colours to match bikes and kit etc we highly recommend it for cross country cycling. You’d want a little more protection for serious mountain biking but we don’t stock full face helmets.
