Engineered with an oversized downtube for stability, this Sportive model has a tapered headtube for increased front-end precision handling. The Sportive Disc Titanium Road Frame is designed to be ultra comfortable, long on smooth roads but capable of tackling demanding terrain thanks to the 30mm tire clearance and the ability to carry equipment thanks to two sets of bosses for both water bottles and a rack.
The Sportive is made from Grade 9 titanium alloy and made to Lynskey’s specifications. The Sportive’s frame is a classic, clean and refined design, with an oversized downtube for extra stiffness.
The Sportive’s down tube is extra wide at 30mm, which protects against common road hazards such as cars and debri, and helps to increase rigidity with high tensile titanium tubing.
The Sportive’s full carbon fork is made for comfort, fully isolated from road vibrations with a tapered carbon steerer.
The Sportive’s down tube, seat stays, and chain stays are curved at the ends, adding an extra element of comfort without compromising rigidity.
To complete the Sportive, Lynskey matched this titanium road frame with a Campagnolo Bora One groupset, Vittoria Open Corsa 32c tires, and a Lynskey Road fork.

In 2016, Lynskey introduced the Sportive disc’s aluminum seatpost and seatpost clamp; these were quickly replaced with titanium parts to preserve/improve the ride quality. Lynskey is committed to refining the Sportive’s ride quality and for 2018, Lynskey is providing two optional hood design seatpost clamp options to work with any carbon fiber or titanium seatposts.
