Drones have completely revolutionized the extreme sport industry by providing a more effective method to take captivating videos. There are countless different designs on the market each with their own unique twist. However, one thing is certain. Extreme sports require extreme drones. That is why my favorite drone on the market for extreme sports is the Airdog.

The Airdog is a completely autonomous drone with the ability to follow someone simply using a wristband. There is no need to rely on someone else to control the drone. The wristband completely eliminates the need to risk losing or breaking your phone. If relying on the autonomous function isn’t your preferred choice or there is a need to avoid obstacles such as large trees or hills, there is also the ability to customize the flight path beforehand. With a max speed of 72 kilometers per hour, the drone can keep up with the needs of its users.

The high wind resistance and water-resistant features create a drone suitable for all terrains and situations. The drone also includes an auto-home return, which eliminates the need to worry about losing battery in the middle of skiing down the mountain or surfacing a gnarly wave. The compatibility between the drone and a GoPro HERO5 results in the ability to take stunning and highly-detailed videos that capture both the extreme sports and surrounding scenery.

It appears that the AirDog team has completely thought about the needs of extreme sports enthusiasts and designed the perfect product for its users. Overall, the AirDog technology is my favorite on the market and I look forward to viewing the extreme sport videos captured over the next couple of years.
